World Drone Congress + Shenzhen International UAV Expo 2026

The World Drone Congress and Shenzhen International UAV Expo 2026 is one of the world’s most important events for the drone, aerial imaging, and unmanned systems industry. Held in Shenzhen — China’s global hub for drone innovation and home to leading companies such as DJI, JOUAV, Autel, and HighGreat — the expo brings together manufacturers, component suppliers, flight control developers, system integrators, logistics operators, government regulators, and professional drone users from over 100 countries.

At China Business Gateway, we help international buyers, distributors, enterprise users, and technology partners attend the event, identify reliable suppliers, and explore cooperation opportunities across the fast-growing UAV ecosystem.

Overview of the Event

The World Drone Congress is jointly organised by key industry associations and innovation institutes, and is recognised as one of the global benchmark events for UAV development. The accompanying Shenzhen International UAV Expo showcases the full supply chain — from hobby drones and consumer photography platforms to agricultural spray UAVs, industrial inspection systems, mapping and surveying drones, police and emergency drones, long-range logistics UAVs, and emerging eVTOL passenger aircraft. The event also features high-level industry forums, regulatory roundtables, technology launches, and flight demonstration zones.

Dates and Venue

The 2026 edition will take place at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian or Bao’an district — final venue to be confirmed). The venue provides indoor exhibition pavilions as well as outdoor test spaces for live UAV performance demonstrations.

Date : May 21–23, 2026

What to Expect at the 2026 Expo

Visitors can expect to gain direct insight into the future of aerial robotics and unmanned systems. The exhibition showcases advances in flight endurance, long-range communication, AI-based autonomous navigation, high-precision mapping payloads, swarm coordination, and industrial-grade reliability engineering. The event is particularly strong in agricultural and power-grid inspection UAVs, city-level drone transport systems, and professional cinematography platforms. Live flight zones allow attendees to observe real-world performance, evaluate stability and imaging quality, compare payload capacity, and discuss integration requirements directly with engineering teams. For distributors, resellers, service providers, and enterprise project managers, the expo offers the opportunity to meet decision-makers and assess supply capability before formal procurement or partnership development.
